  • 5060 wonton wrappers
  • 200 g ground pork
  • 200 g raw shrimp (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic (smashed)
  • 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
  • Salt and sesame oil for seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, grated ginger, chopped green onions, light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, and salt. Mash together until fairly smooth.
  2. Lay out wonton wrappers; place about one teaspoon of filling on each wrapper. Brush edges with water, fold to seal tightly.
  3. Bring a pot of water to boil; add wontons and cook for approximately four minutes until they float.
  4. In another saucepan, combine chicken broth, smashed garlic cloves, ginger slice, light soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Serve wontons in bowls topped with hot broth and garnish with shredded green onions.
