  • 8 oz rigatoni (uncooked)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 5 oz fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add crumbled sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes until pasta is al dente, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in the spinach until wilted (about 2 minutes), or cover and let residual heat wilt it.
