- 2 heads cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500ºF (260ºC) and adjust the rack to the lower third position.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Cut each head in half lengthwise, then slice into 1½-inch thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each steak, then sprinkle with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the steaks on a rimmed baking sheet. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes; flip the steaks and roast until golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes more.
