- 2½ tablespoons butter (melted)
- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 Oreos (chopped for filling)
- Optional: chocolate ganache (1 cup dark chocolate chips + 2–3 tablespoons heavy cream)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 7-inch springform pan with parchment paper and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Crush Oreos for the crust and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 8–10 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325°F. Beat cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Fold in chopped Oreos.
- Pour batter into the crust. Bake in a water bath for approximately 75 minutes.
- Cool in the oven with the door ajar for one hour before chilling in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
