  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and eggs gradually, then mix in sour cream and vanilla until combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie layer and smooth out the top.
  7. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 50-60 minutes until set around edges but slightly jiggly in center. Cool inside the oven with door ajar for an hour before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
