  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  5. Stir in thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaves, egg noodles, and water.
  6. Cook over medium-high heat until noodles are tender (about 10 minutes).
  7. Remove bay leaves before serving.
