  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté garlic for about 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened (3-4 minutes). Add Parmesan cheese until smooth; adjust with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Combine the chicken and rigatoni in the skillet; toss until fully coated. Simmer briefly before serving.
