  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup whipping cream (or sour cream/Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon mixture)
  • ¼ cup ground cinnamon
  • For icing: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tablespoons cream/milk, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the cinnamon sugar by combining ⅔ cup granulated sugar and ¼ cup ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually mix into wet ingredients alternating with whipping cream and milk.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the greased bundt pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, then top with remaining batter and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For the icing, whisk powdered sugar with cream/milk and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake before serving.
