  • 8g salt
  • 10g instant yeast
  • 75g yogurt
  • 15g honey
  • 35ml sunflower oil
  • 225ml water
  • 40g butter
  • 50g grated cheese
  • 700g chicken thighs
  • cayenne powder
  • coriander powder
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • red bell pepper powder
  • cumin powder
  • Algerienne sauce
  • sweet soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 25ml olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing flour, salt, yeast, yogurt, honey, sunflower oil, and water in a bowl. Knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
  2. Let the dough rise for an hour until doubled in size. Then shape into circles and add melted butter and cheese before sealing.
  3. Cut into triangles, roll each triangle into crescent shapes, place on a baking tray, and allow to rise again.
  4. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cook chicken thighs with spices in a skillet until done, then fill crescents with the mixture.
