Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add in 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; blend until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough onto waxed paper; press seams together and fit into the pan over the cinnamon layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  7. Place the second roll of dough on top of the filling.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
