Ingredients

  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • For ganache: 6 oz semisweet chocolate and ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk sugars and eggs until combined, then add melted chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  5. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. While cooling, prepare the ganache by heating cream until simmering; pour over chopped chocolate and stir until smooth.
  8. Cut cooled brownies into small squares, dip in ganache, sprinkle with fleur de sel, and allow to set.
